A word about targeted ads
Good marketing isn’t about tracking your every move or spying on you. It’s about meeting people where they are, with the information they’re actually looking for, at the time they’re looking for it.
Full Policy
Intent Parkour
At Intent Parkour, your privacy is a top priority. The following policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding the collection and use of this information.
Effective Date: September 1, 2025
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide: When you sign up for updates, join a waitlist, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, and any other details you choose to share.
Website activity data: We use tools such as the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics to understand how visitors navigate our site. These tools collect data like pages visited, actions taken, device/browser details, and IP addresses (FTC guidance, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR).
Automatically collected data: Like most websites, we may use cookies or similar technologies to improve site performance and measure usage (GDPR, ePrivacy Directive).
2. How We Use Your Info
We use the information we collect to:
Provide updates, respond to your inquiries, or send information you signed up for (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
Improve our website and services (FTC transparency requirement)
Measure and improve advertising and outreach efforts (CCPA/CPRA)
Maintain the security and proper functioning of our website (FTC Data Security guidance, GDPR Article 32)
3. Third-Party Tools
Our website uses third-party tools, including Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. These services may use cookies, web beacons, or other technologies to collect or receive data about your activity on our website and elsewhere on the internet. This data may be used to provide measurement services and deliver targeted ads (see box 3A).
You can opt out of this type of tracking here:
http://www.aboutads.info/choices (U.S. self-regulatory program)
http://www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU equivalent)
(Required under CCPA/CPRA and GDPR/ePrivacy for targeted advertising.)
3A. Targeted Ads in Human Language
When we say targeted ads, here’s what it means:
Ads you see online may be based on things like your general interests, the kinds of websites you’ve visited, or simple details like your region or device type.
This helps us reach people who are already searching for activities like parkour, fitness, or youth programs — rather than showing random ads to people who have no interest.
It does not mean we sell your personal information, and it does not mean we track everything you browse.
In short: targeted ads are designed to connect people who want to find us with our programs and updates — not to trick or pressure you
(Required disclosures: CCPA/CPRA defines this as “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.” GDPR/ePrivacy calls this “profiling.” We include this explanation so it’s clear what that means in practice.)
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information (CCPA/CPRA).
We may share limited data with service providers and trusted partners only as necessary to operate our business, comply with the law, or protect our rights (FTC enforcement guidance).
4A. Data Sharing in Human Language
When we say data sharing, here’s what it means:
We don’t sell your personal information. Period.
Sometimes we work with trusted companies that help us run the basics — things like email services, website hosting, or payment processors. They only get the information they need to do their job.
We may also have to share information if the law requires it, or if it’s needed to protect our community and our business.
In short: we only share your info when it’s necessary to keep Intent Parkour running safely and legally — never to make money off your data.
6. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it promptly (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act – COPPA).
7. Data & Security
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy (GDPR Article 5 “storage limitation”).
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure (FTC Data Security guidance, GDPR Article 32).
8. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top reflects the most recent version. We encourage you to review this page periodically (FTC “honor your promises” requirement, GDPR).
